Before & After School

Who:
Children enrolled in Kindergarten through 5th grades.

Where: 
Kids Club is offered for each of the valley's elementary schools:
CC Meneley* (CCMES), Gardnerville Elementary (GES), Jacks Valley (JVES), Minden Elementary (MES)*, Pinon Hills (PHES)* and Scarselli (SES)
*Due to circumstances beyond our control, some sites have been combined once again for the 22/23 school year.  Students will be dropped off and picked up by parents at the assigned schools and will be transported by county vehicle and Recreation staff to and from their school.
CCMES Kids Club will be held at SES.
MES Kids Club will be held at GES.

Kids Club sites for the 22/23 SY include GES, JVES, PHES & SES.

When:
AM Program, 7:00 - 8:40 am
PM Program,  3:14 - 6:00 pm, the PM Program includes start time at school dismissal on DCSD scheduled minimum days and PLC early out days.  
You can choose our AM Program, PM Program or both depending on your needs.
Kids Club is offered each school day and is a monthly program.

Cost:
Monthly Fee varies based on the number of school days in the month 
Fees are based on the number of school days in the month.
In order to register for Kids Club families must enroll in our Auto-Pay system. The Auto-Pay system will ensure prompt payment, but also secures your spot(s) in Kids Club for the entire school year. 
 

• The Club is open 2PM-6PM for after school programming (Parents must pick-up no later than 6:30PM)
• The Club is open 7:30AM-6PM for most school district teacher work days, conference days, district holidays etc.
• The Club is open 7:30AM to 6PM for most school district breaks – winter break, spring break and summer break.
• The Club is open early for most school district early release days.

Closures Due to Weather or Emergency

• The Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Nevada follows the school schedule. Upon any Carson City School District closures due to weather or emergency situations, Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Nevada will be closed as well.
• In any case of closure due to weather or emergency situation, parents will be notified through the Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Nevada Facebook page.
• If any members are currently at the Boys & Girls Club location at the time of event, parents will be notified via phone call for their children to be picked up immediately.

Orientation & Membership Fees

• The annual membership fee is $60 per member.

• The Monthly Fee is $40 per member (these fees are not pro-rated)

• Monthly spots are first come, first Served. • You MUST pay the monthly fee in order to reserve a member’s spot.

• The School Break Weekly Fees are $50 per member/per week.

• Teacher Work Days/Non-Instructional Days are $10/day per member.

• All BGCWN Carson Valley programs have a 95 Club member capacity (spots are not reserved until payment is made)

• Members must be between the ages of 6-18 (5 year olds allowed if attending kindergarten)

• You must bring proof of your child’s age i.e. Birth Certificate, InfiniteCampus, etc.

• If Members are not picked up by 6:30PM BGCWN Late Pick-Up policy will be followed
