4th Grade Students Release Trout into the Carson River

Students in Ms. Woods’ class at Gardnerville Elementary recently released trout they had raised in their classroom into the Carson River. After caring for the fish for about a month, students had the chance to see their hard work swim away into their natural habitat.

Since our initial announcement, we’ve learned that the bats inside the District Office building have been identified as Mexican Freetail bats, a protected species.

Rotary Club of Minden gives Reading Pillows for Summer
