    Important Information

       Welcome Back to School

We are so excited to welcome our students back to GES for the 2021/2022 school year and all those new students joining us!!

Parents, please note these important requests:

When you bring your student to school, please bring them as close to 8:45 am as possible.  For 1st - 5th graders, we will continue to maintain our student pick-up/drop off lane along the back fields in the direction flow from Toler and out to Chichester (this is a ONE WAY ONLY lane).  Your cooperation helps the pick-up/drop off for school buses, Pre-K, and Kindergarten families to be safer and more fluid.  The buses use the lane in the front of the school - kindly park elsewhere.  Please remain in your vehicle as you pass through, as parents will not be allowed into the school building, on the playground, or able to volunteer until restrictions have been changed.

All adults who visit on campus are required to wear masks.  Masks are currently recommended for children, but not required.  Our #1 goal is the safety and well-being of our students.  Thank you for understanding.

Be safe and see you soon!

Douglas County School District is offering its own Home School program.  Please follow the above survey link if you are interested in learning more.
